DISNEY STRANGE WORLD SPOILER FREE REVIEW
My expectations with this new Disney animated film were very low, due to the terrible reception it has had at the box office and the mixed opinions of the critics, however, after having seen it, I must be honest with my perception; I admit that I didn't find it a bad movie, despite not being outstanding either, it's a typical adventure and science fiction movie, entertaining enough, but with its notable flaws, which fall mainly on the lack of novelty in concept and structure.
This movie is in the same range as many other animations already seen at Disney, DreamWorks, Blue Sky, and Universal, it recycles things that have worked before, although this time it cannot be combined as efficiently as Disney's Big Hero 6, at least it remains at levels similar to something like Blue Sky's Spies in Disguise, to give a recent example of a functional product without standing out too much. The lack of originality works against it, all the time I had the feeling of having seen this film on so many previous occasions, therefore, this is not a negative aspect exclusively of this feature film, it is a reused formula that affects other tapes of the same way, though they undeniably manage to entertain the audience and produce a few smiles.
WHAT IS DISNEY'S STRANGE WORLD BASED ON?
Important to clarify the following; the quality of a film should not be harmed by our inclination to like or dislike the subject of social inclusion unless that is the central theme and is part of the development of the plot, it is not valid to favor or subtract what it offers a tape in its entirety just because there is inclusion (whether you agree or not), that would be a poor evaluation of the product.
In the style of a classic tale, Strange World intends to convey messages to the viewer with a very simple story and construction, the main characters have some affective and identifiable dialogues in the father-son relationship, however, nothing made an impact on me. emotional, it is a journey of acceptable entertainment; but there is no extraordinary exploration inside said "Strange World".
