Jonathan Majors as Kang has a huge challenge, being the main antagonistic figure of two event films (Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars) that seek to be the biggest and most ambitious productions regarding the history of Blockbuster for the cinema in general. As I said before, I hope this villain represents a completely different challenge than what Thanos was, that they explore a different and impactful development for the audience at large, if Marvel is inclined to give this character and the next two films a similar treatment of Avengers; could be a serious mistake and even come to feel like a remake of Infinity War and Endgame, which from my point of view is the biggest challenge for both future installments, they must offer a well-formed creative and ingenious story, without leaving aside the spectacle, placing the heroes and the villain in situations that totally different from what we’ve already seen. I honestly trust that Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios will make of KANG a stunning and unforgettable antagonist, the MCU has always been characterized by the crafting of a master plan that drives everything, no coincidence, if we base the results of the build of this Cinematic Universe and the future possibilities we could ensure that we will have a magnificent conclusion of the Multiverse Saga and Kang will be essential. Don't worry, Scott won't die in Quantunmania, but... unfortunately, I don't think he'll survive in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Paul Rudd is a very charismatic actor and in obvious physical health, but when that film premieres he will be 56 years old, more than Robert Downey Jr. had. by the time he finishes his journey with Iron Man (54 years old in 2019). The death of Scott Lang in Avengers: Kang Dynasty (2025), seems logical and imminent to me, would be a sacrifice worthy of a hero, as Tony Stark did in his time, according to my theory; The Avengers will avenge Ant-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars. |
