This third installment of Creed kept me so interested and intrigued by its setting construction and the overall realization that there was honestly a point where I didn't want the film to end. I enjoyed its simple but effective story, the duality between the two leading figures, the fascinating dynamics in the action, and the scenic creativity. An explosion of adrenaline, combined with a good story and fascinating technical aspects, photography, editing, and sound, is a film worth appreciating on the big screen.
Michael B. Jordan, in addition to starring in the film, also took the reins of direction, this film being his debut as a filmmaker, this artist decided to take on the responsibility of playing the main character while at the same time directing the entire production, fortunately, the result it's amazing.
B. Jordan's work in front of and behind the cameras shows a lot of dedication, and his characterization as Adonis Creed is endearing and full of vitality, at the same time he has an extraordinary start in his career as a film director, I admit that he exceeded my expectations, for the great cinematic level that it achieved, making good use of the script written by Ryan Coogler and even raising the potential of it, with a passionate approach, which shines more for its exposition than its writing.
WILL CREED 3 BE GOOD?
Jonathan Majors makes an outstanding acting delivery, revealing the magnitude of his talent, and giving the character an imposing, intimidating, and energetic presence. Both main actors have outstanding chemistry throughout the film, the script explores their connection, and gives it the right space to detonate the conflict and repercussions.
A palpable tension is present in the film's setting and optics, well-paced leading the viewer into the thrilling and ferocious action sequences, garnished with a powerful soundtrack of physical interactions. Creed III is a film without complexity or dazzling plot twists, but with brilliant style, vibrant impact and sensational momentum.
