My expectations were low with this new Marvel Studios film, it featured a tremendously generic and artificial product in a bad sense, in effect, the result combines my worst anticipation, with some positive aspects and others slightly different, but unfortunately, I perceived a very flawed project in general.
Among its favorable points, is mainly its imposing antagonistic figure, in addition, the tape is partly entertaining and with a good sequential pace, but this is bogged down when it wrongly strives to increase its scale, to which purpose they flash no hint of some qualitative or ingenious goal, they just want to amplify their level of spectacle, moving into the most generic and empty grounds, both in film composition and in their failed structure.
Jonathan Majors as the antagonist Kang is definitely the shining piece in this decomposed puzzle, this new villain is interesting, imposing, and full of exceptional nuances. The protagonists do not have an outstanding presence but fulfill their proper participation, on the other hand, Unnecessarily the story seeks to give focus to a group of irritating tertiary characters.
IS IT WORTH WATCHING ANT-MAN AND THE WASP QUANTUMANIA
The script instead of favoring the main plot, muddies it even further, taking the tape’s premise to the most unsavory places within the possibilities of its context. The direction is flat and devoid of personality, with stumbling blocks such as the saturation of comedic intentions that turn out to be embarrassing at inopportune moments and action scenes that lack impact. The visual effects and the technical apart fulfill the function of the shallow and disconnected that is stage setting.
I respect all opinions, however, from my analysis and subjectivity I recognize that despite not being a terrible film and being on par with other functional regular-mediocre tapes, in this case, its shortcomings weigh more than in other productions, taking on accounts for the relevance of conceptualization and construction of the same, which is reduced to very low-quality levels in multiple fields.
