AVATAR DIRECTED BY JAMES CAMERON HAS ALREADY BECOME THE HIGHEST-GROSSING 2022  

        

The sequel to Avatar directed by James Cameron has already become the highest-grossing 2022 release, surpassing the number of Top Gun: Maverick (1.488 million dollars) in record time.

The total raised by Top Gun was obtained during its three months in theaters, however, Avatar: The Way of Water has managed to surpass that mark with 1,500 million dollars after only 20 days since its premiere.

This Cameron sequel is an almost unprecedented phenomenon, having a daily performance similar to (or greater than) the original Avatar (2009) film, it has already surpassed the box office that Spider-Man: No Way Home had grossed in the same period of time, we will see if it manages to exceed the total of the Marvel Studios tape (No Way Home 1,918 million, without China).

Avatar: The Way of Water has exceeded all forecasts and every day the projections are even higher, everything will depend on how long it maintains this stability, so far it has the possibility of reaching 2 billion dollars worldwide.

Avatar and Top Gun were the biggest surprises in cinema in 2022, being the most successful Blockbusters of the year, both at the box office, with critics, and awards, surpassing any Marvel movie and ruling out the erroneous thought of some who claimed; "Cinema is dying, people only go to see Marvel movies."

In my opinion, both films were without a doubt the best cinematographic experience of the year and I am very happy that they have been successful in all aspects. Avatar: The Way of Water and Top Gun: Maverick managed to move me and transport me to the footage in an extraordinary way.
