Is Pinocchio a good movie in 2022?

          

An animated work of art, that is the best definition of the new adaptation of the classic story Pinocchio, produced by Netflix and directed by Guillermo del Toro, adapting the story with a slightly darker and deeper essence than the iconic Disney version, combining concepts fun and attractive for any public, at the same time with more philosophical concepts.

         

It is emotional, fascinating and with an endearing message, it transmits beauty through its script, set design, and the majestic manufacture of its entire face. The writing of this movie not only contains nice and melancholy moments but also gets interesting conversations on realistic topics, from a political and even religious perspective at times.

         

Stop Motion animation has always been a resource of my admiration, all the process and detail involved in its elaboration is fantastic to me, in this film it is used with great manifestation, a visual delight with all the delicacy it deserves, each scene is impeccable in a scale of excellence when applying said animated technique.

The soundtrack is precious, as are each of the technical and audiovisual components of this work, which elevate the product to high artistic levels, with sequences that obviously require a lot of dedication and creativity, sound editing, and production design as well. stand out, great performance by all the people involved in the creation of this meritorious project.

         

The award-winning director's direction and tone draw us into his compelling setting stylized with utter wonder, in this beautifully animated film, beautiful in every sense of its conception.
