This production is a fantastic piece that adds to the composition of the MCU, exploring mainly the most classic aspects of horror, with impeccable freshness, which gives it originality and art in many elements of its set.
Michael Giacchino makes an amazing debut as a director, shining in each of the cinematographic components of this project, the visual aesthetic is beautiful, with all the dark and singular essence that it entails, in addition to the amazing decision in the black and white visual application, In an excellent homage to classic horror movies, the sound editing and soundtrack elevate all the footage to the darkest and most vibrant levels it requires.
Werewolf By Night does everything right to introduce magnificent characters in a concise duration, we can know the individual qualities of each one thanks to the outstanding realization of its script and the good work of the leading actors.
WHY IS WEREWOLF BY NIGHT SO GOOD?
Gael Garcia Bernal as Jack Russell (The Wolf Man) and Laura Donnelly as Elsa Bloodstone are outstanding new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, their characters are very interesting and attractive, and I look forward to continuing to see more of them and no doubt also the nice Man-Thing.
The production design is truly amazing, with all the settings and set art creating a spooky atmosphere with a grim vibe that we've never seen before in the MCU, monstrous elements, and extraordinary practical effects for the Werewolf and Man-Thing design.
The story is simple and precise, and the structure makes the product a delight in its entirety, with admirable action sequences and a shocking amount of violence. This wonderful foray into the darkest environment of Marvel Studios becomes one of the best and most creative products in the history of this Cinematic Universe.
