WHAT'S THE POINT OF SHE-HULK SHOW?
She-Hulk has positive points to highlight, but also notable flaws. The objective of maintaining the essence of its protagonist in the comics is proposed, with a rather satirical and self-conscious humor, however, this aspect at times stumbles in the series and does not have the desired result, due to embarking on numerous absurd and empty subplots. that do not lead to a comic or interesting effect.
I fully understand the decision to create a sitcom and, therefore, entail humorous situations in each episode that do not necessarily contribute to the plot, the problem is that the performance in the entire second act of the series is mediocre, without being a disaster. , such episodes of the journey can be entertaining, but they do not work in the best way on their own intention, which means a failure in their mission.
The series largely falls on the shoulders of its great actress and main character, due to the outstanding characterization it achieves, it immediately becomes a character with very defined qualities that is quite nice, it is not the same case with some secondary characters that the series surround them, like their fellow lawyers and the "antagonist" Titania, who have a tedious, totally inconsequential participation.
Why did She-Hulk fail?
Another point in favor that adds value to the entire complement is the participation of great characters from the Marvel Universe and the presence of its actors, such as Mark Ruffalo, Charlie Cox, Tim Roth and Benedict Wong, each one contributes a lot to the product and It's fantastic to see them on screen, equally the treatment that is given to each one is excellent, like the great incorporation of Daredevil and his magnificent chemistry with Jennifer Walters.
The CGI has good quality but is unstable, at times it looks spectacular and in other scenes it is obviously weak, the humor works so well at the end that they are even capable of laughing at that aspect. It is important to discern and value a product with all its aspects in general, She-Hulk had a good start, a disappointing course and a wonderful ending, which makes it an inconsistent series, but with a balance that is more positive than negative.
