Is Wednesday a Good Show?
This series adapts the Addams Family with the main focus on Wednesday Addams, under the fascinating imagination of Tim Burton, in a positive way it manages to perfectly capture the essence of its iconic filmmaker, the dark and extravagant elements that characterize him, with quirky settings and characters hilarious, but from my point of view, in this series, the exploration of that particular vision of the director has more quantity, with great intensity and not specifically a higher quality.
I adore Tim Burton's style and all his filmography, I admit that logically the result of his productions does not always reach the same level of quality, in this case, the improbable tone of intentional eccentricity that the entire series manages at times tilts the balance towards saturation, even though it is generally functional.
IS WEDNESDAY A HORROR SERIES?
The main character is a good representation of a youthful stereotype that is attractive to the masses in modern times, however, it is less interesting than it pretends to be, being an insistent exponent of forced rarity, resulting in a correct and efficient main figure, not extraordinary; as he wants to broadcast constantly. Jenna Ortega gives an outstanding interpretation of her character, to offer everything that the role of her requires, perfectly fitting her character, which has propelled her to quickly become a well-deserved popular icon.
