WHAT IS GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL?

This new special project from Marvel Studios for Disney Plus definitely contains a nice Christmas spirit that got me very touched. It shows us The Guardians of the Galaxy with their characteristic sense of humor, in nice situations, adding the theme of Christmas and family, which, being close to all viewers, results in an irresistible sentimental connection.

Objectively, it is a production with fairly regular film and television quality, and limited cinematography, it lacks outstanding photographic and scenographic elements, but they are part of its own essence because it denotes simplicity, due to the simplicity itself proposed, for being such a small product, possibly The least cinematic of all that Marvel Studios has done, including the series, this Christmas special is inferior in that aspect but on a voluntary basis, with smaller objectives, but with a lot of feeling.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY HOLIDAY SPECIAL?

It doesn't require a big budget or a large scale of spectacularity, but it does need a good script, which can concisely convey the main thrust of likability, luckily it has the good direction and writing skills that James Gunn possesses, it makes this feel really like a tiny but special footage.

Gunn is very fond of The Guardians of the Galaxy and this time has not been the exception, despite containing some poor jokes in my opinion, in general, Holiday Special is fun and funny. Not all the scenes were compelling to me, much of the special focus on Matis and Drax on earth, in less appealing situations than the emotional climax achieves.

It has some original musical pieces that I found wonderful, very hilarious scenes, and others less, the great charisma of the Guardians and essence with a beautiful effective emission that makes me want to revisit this special on Christmas day.
